Al-Omir Trading and Contracting Company was established in 1398 AH in Zulfi Governorate as a solidarity company in the contracting activity. It owned at that time a number of equipment, crushers, asphalt mixers and concrete mixers. In the region, where it owns a giant fleet of equipment and various sectors in infrastructure works, construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, railways, concrete constructions, concrete factories, asphalt production, crushers, road transport and rental of heavy equipment covering all parts of the Kingdom.

In 2006, the company started its work in the field of railway implementation, and the work has continued continuously to this day, as the railway implementation project for the Qassim/Riyadh train was the most important project for which the company was one of the main contractors.
