New shipment of Qatari food aid arrives in Beirut

A plane of the Amiri Air Force of the Qatari Armed Forces loaded with 70 tonnes of food, a new shipment of aid provided by Qatar to the Lebanese army, arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport on Saturday.
Qatar announced last July that it would support the Lebanese army with 70 tonnes of foodstuffs per month for a year, as part of its efforts and commitment to support the Lebanon and stand by the brotherly Lebanese people, in addition to its firm belief in the importance and necessity of activating Joint Arab Action.
